1. Data We Collect

We collect account data, profile photo, age, gender, height, weight, goals, fitness level, workouts, food logs, calories, macros, preferences, allergies, health-related notes you provide, mood/wellness logs, food photos, AI chat messages, voice input/transcriptions, challenge results, badges, device data, crash logs, and subscription status.

2. AI Coach Memory

The AI trainer may remember your nutrition patterns, workout habits, preferences, prior answers, and progress to personalize coaching while your account is active.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use data to provide food scanning, nutrition tracking, workouts, AI coaching, reminders, reports, leaderboard and challenge features, subscriptions, support, product updates, promotional offers where permitted, analytics, safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

4. AI Trainer & Third Parties

Your profile, goals, workouts, food logs, health-related notes, chat messages, food photos, and voice transcriptions may be shared with OpenAI for AI processing. Data sent through the OpenAI API is not used to train OpenAI models unless explicitly opted in. AI output may be inaccurate and is not medical advice.

Other services include Supabase (database), Cloudflare (media/CDN), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports), Amplitude (analytics), AppsFlyer (install attribution and campaign measurement), Expo/platform push services (notifications), and Apple App Store / Google Play (payments).

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your data, withdraw consent, opt out of promotional communications, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact info@avarise.app.

6. Security & Retention

Data is protected with reasonable safeguards, including TLS in transit. Account, nutrition, workout, and coach-memory data are kept while your account is active. AI chats are generally deleted or de-identified after 90 days. Payment records are kept as required by law.

7. Account Deletion

Delete your account via Profile > Settings > Delete Account, by emailing info@avarise.app, or via the Data Deletion page. Cancel active subscriptions through the app store where you purchased them.

8. Children & Changes

The Service is intended for users aged 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If local law requires it, minors should use Avarise with parent or guardian permission. We may update this policy; continued use means acceptance.
